SAW 2011

We have just returned from SAW 2011. The annual activity camp held by the South West Norfolk District Fellowship.

Three nights under canvas in Thetford Forest with 17 Cubs and Scouts who camped along with other Groups from Norfolk. Abseiling, shooting, archery, open canoeing, kayaking and climbing were available. Congratulations to Scout ,Adam Gibb who achieved the highest score of the camp with his rifle shooting!

A very big WELL DONE to all the Cubs and Scouts who tried something new, overcame fears or learned a new skill and to those that were camping for the first time. The Leaders are very proud of all of you and thank you all for your good behaviour during the camp. It was great to see the more experienced members supporting and helping the newer ones, a true demonstration of the spirit of scouting.

Maybe we were all a bit weary by the end of it but a great time was had by all!
